Test Driven Development Students will learn test driven design (TDD), refactoring, test doubles usage, mocking frameworks, and dependency injection. Students will apply the lessons introduced in the presentation through a series of hands-on exercises. The course is highly interactive and the material is a blend of presentation and a hands-on tutorial.
Architecture and Agility Being agile does not mean living life one iteration at a time. Iterations are tools for producing, validating, and discovering architectural needs. This is not mutually exclusive with a longer view for the system architecture. Successful agility comes from planning within iterations and across iterations. Many agile teams plan releases (several iterations) creating an excellent forum for engaging architectural and other cross cutting concerns.
Coaching Agility This 2 day course is based on 10 years of coaching experience, guiding the adoption and adaption of agile methods in large and small companies around the world. The material covers building community, workingwith people, teaching practices, fostering transparency, growing collaboration and more. The interactive course challenges participants to engage in one on one as well as group activities. The course has successfully established coaching (and coaches) in companies and projects of all sizes and shapes incountries around the world.
Tuning and Improving If you experienced in using agile methods, and you want to improve or augment your toolset, this course is for you. The course starts by reviewing where you are on your journey, helping you assess where you are using agile method, and how they are helping and where they are challenged. The rest of the course will introduce ideas for discovering and understand your challenges along with tools to address challenges, add new practices or simply augmenting your strengths or practices.
Planning and Tracking The course draws on material from XP, Scrum and Lean. The interactive style ensures that people leave with the experience and information needed to starting practicing agile methods.
